Mercedes GL - Vettura blindata da 4 tonnelate

Armored Mercedes GL-Class, with a total weight up to 4 tons. The original Airmatic suspension has been replaced with an Bilstein monotube gas dampers with Eibach springs to support the extra weight. At the front we used the system up-side-down with a 50 mm cartridge and on the rear a cartridge with 40mm. Always mounted up-side-down. Also the Top Mount was specific built for the higher load.
The car was built by an Italian company for a president outside the European Union.
